Crumbaugh is proud to announce and welcome Rick Merritt and Heather Neilson to the team.
Rick Merritt
Vice President of Construction/ General Manager
Rick joins the team as the Vice President of Construction. He has provided leadership on more that $900 million of construction ranging from small tenant fit-ups to multi-million dollar projects of multiple types of construction and uses including healthcare, senior care, historic renovations, commercial, retail, industrial, warehouses, and distribution centers across the nation over his 30-year career. Rick attended the Ohio State University and is a LEED accredited professional. He lives in Oldham County with his two daughters and his granddaughter. He is active in the community and volunteers his time generously.
Heather Neilson
Director of Marketing
Crumbaugh’s new Director of Marketing is Heather Neilson. She will be responsible for developing and implementing a strategic marketing plan designed to capitalize on market opportunities. In addition, her role will manage all social media platforms, website design, and creation of marketing collateral. Heather joins the team from a local Congressional campaign. Before moving to Louisville in March of 2018, she was the Press Secretary for Congressman Steve Womack in Washington, D.C. There she developed her marketing and communications skills by creating a brand for the Congressman and acting as the formal spokesperson and media liaison. Prior to her role on Capitol Hill, Heather worked with the Congressional Sportsmen’s Foundation as the Marketing and Communications Assistant. In that role, she monitored digital analytics, created Foundation collateral, and assisted with the development and redesign of the website.
Heather is a graduate of the University of Mississippi with a degree in Integrated Marketing Communication. Originally from Oxford, Mississippi, Heather now resides in Louisville.
